You will organize the lab/site visit(s) to assess the lab environment suitability for ALD and ensure that their small team completes and delivers a report to Zontal's. Track the deliverables from that plan daily. Responsible for ensuring that all people, meetings, travel & facilities are booked. Actively avoid becoming a single point of program failure (in case of unexpected absence): Use ALD Teams group/channels and not depend on email & attachments Share documentation and progress openly with the PMs/Teams (do not hoard work products in personal storage) Deliverables/Artefacts Implementation Plan: On-site survey/discovery implementation plan. Business Workflow (As-is & To-be): Document describing the Lab's current purpose, instruments, workflows and any customizations necessary along with the planned workflows in order to allow the implementation engineer and Zontal to know how to configure Zontal for this lab. Month 1 – Establish the facts, refine the approach Identify the Lab Lead as your main point of contact to get started. Review each of the RATs (with help from the Metrics Master) and implement the relevant mitigations for your project. Review the comms plan and implement the necessary comms channels for your project team Make contact with all the key stakeholders for your lab/site implementation Create a lab/site implementation plan and obtain peer, senior and lab approval Organize, book, purchase, invite and setup all the necessary appointments, meetings and events for your project team Lead induction for new team members, ensure they understand their roles, manage team performance Lead the team weekly retrospectives to help the team learn from progress so far Month 2 – Deliver a simple system that works Lead your Lab/Site BA, Implementation Engineer and Zontal to ensure a limited, specific but successful lab implementation. Work with BAs to ensure requirements are simplified and rationalized for the first Zontal implementation in order to ensure a limited, specific but successful first lab implementation Prepare the way for scientists to see real value from your implementation such as by delivering the first data visualizations - ensure BAs define requirements for visualizations Lead the team weekly retrospectives to help the team learn from progress so far Month 3 – Finish the implementation and share information, configuration & experience Organize, and then provide, user support so that all your implemented lab users clearly understand how to use the product and where to go for help if there is a problem Work with Zontal to deliver the agreed visualizations. Ensure your team has fully documented the actual implementation/configuration and shared it openly within the Program on Teams/SharePoint Lead the team weekly retrospectives to help the team learn from progress so far Write and share an “after action report” to help other teams learn from your team’s successes and failures in order to improve future lab/site implementations
